Think
Ask about anything current and Cloudy searches the web in the background, then shows its sources. No extra key. Turn on Terminal and it can check things on your Mac too, with risky commands blocked.
Tell Cloudy about yourself once, or say “remember that…”. Skills teach it how you like things done: type / to use one. Want a clean slate? A temporary chat isn't saved and forgets everything. It all stays on your Mac.
A project has its own chats, away from everyday ones. Add PDFs, notes or code once and every model in the project reads them. Or point any chat at a folder on your Mac.
Do
Ask “open Safari and find the weather in Taipei” and the cloud becomes a little arrow that flies, clicks, types, scrolls and drags. Esc stops it.
Give each model its own job in one message, like “@Gemini research this @Claude write that”. They work at the same time, and Cloudy puts it all together. Mention a model twice and it takes on two separate jobs.
Double-tap ⌥ (or any hotkey you like) and Cloudy reads the question under your pointer. Multiple choice shows the letter in the cloud. Short answers and code land on your clipboard. Made for practice and study: don’t use it in tests or graded work where AI help isn’t allowed.

Tell Cloudy what to do and when, like “every weekday at 4, check Google Classroom and list my homework in Notes.” It runs while your Mac is awake, and asks first if you're using it.
Talk and teach
Ask it to explain the triangle problem, the paused video, the diagram or the code in front of you. Cloudy flies its cursor to each spot and draws arrows, circles, boxes and check marks step by step while it explains out loud. The drawings stay until you click, press Esc or talk again.
Hold ⌥Space and say it. Your speech is recognised on your Mac, and Cloudy answers out loud in its own natural voice, which runs offline too.

The Cloudy for Mac beta is invite-only for now. If you have a beta license key, enter it on the Beta page to download, and again when Cloudy first opens. Each key works for 14 days; when it runs out, ask for a new one and everything is where you left it. Want one? Email cloudyai.hq@gmail.com.
Cloudy Free costs nothing and chat is unlimited. You use your own API key, so any usage costs are between you and your AI provider. Free also includes 10 images per 5 hours (attachments and screen views both count) and 3 Scan and Answer a week.
When Cloudy launches publicly, every new install starts with 7 days of Pro, so you can try computer use, Team mode, talking to Cloudy, teaching on screen, local models and unlimited everything. Afterwards Cloudy goes back to Free. Nothing is charged and nothing breaks. The beta has no trial: your beta key decides Free or Pro.
An API key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google (Gemini). Check each provider's pricing. With Pro you can skip keys entirely and run a local model through Ollama.
No. Cloudy only listens while you hold the talk shortcut (⌥Space unless you change it) or after you press the mic button in the chat window. Your speech is recognised on your Mac with Apple's on-device speech recognition.
Cloudy is for ages 13 and up, with a parent's permission under 18. Your AI provider has its own rules too: Google's Gemini API is for ages 18 and up, and OpenAI allows 13 to 17 with a parent's permission. If you're under 18, pick a provider that allows it, or a local model.
Each Pro license is planned to cover 2 Macs. Free works on as many Macs as you like.
